At the moment we have no adults available:
please email us for more information.
We started a cattery with the idea to never say goodbye to our adults. And we would like to continue with these thoughts... but..
We've learned a lot since then.. We just can't keep all our adults..
how much we would like to do this.
Why not you ask? Because:
Because of the ever changing group in the cattery (think about pregnant queens, spayed raggies, kittens that come and go)
there can be cats who don't feel happy anymore. They're bothered by the other cats, or they let us know they aren't happy anymore.
And it isn't fair to the cats to look the other way, just because it's very painfull for us..
You have to keep in mind that you're responsible for the happiness of those cats.
And you know it's the right choice if you see that cat blossom in a new, stable enviroment wit lots of special attention.
But there's more to it.
We want to improve. Especially in the lilac and chocolate colours there's a lot that needs to be done.
We try to improve at the following way:
We think about our combinations and don't just do combinations, just because a specific colours is populair at that moment.
In every litter, we look at the kittens closely and look it there a little one that seems to be better than his/her parents.
With this kitten, we will be a little bit closer to our goal.
If you keep all those cats, than the group is growing to such an amount that the group would become too large.
And you can't keep up with cleaning, medical treatment and special attention to all of the cats.
So you have to make a choice.
And because we want to continue with our goals, we (unfortunately) can't do without replacement of an adult once and a while.(dreams of winning the lottery for that big farm now..)..
Onze adults available for new homes are often young adults.
They are always neutered/spayed before they will leave.
Recently tested and have had their shots.
Mostly they have to be available for futher testing (about once every 2-3 years). This way we want to continue testing our lines so we know whats going on.
You will NEVER walk out of our home with an adult right away. We treat this the same as with our kittens:
Come to our home. Get to know us and the cats. After that we both will think a couple of days about this.If we both agree, than we will
come to you and bring our adult. So we can see with our own eyes he/she is placed in a good home.
We want to have only forever homes for our adults!
